Anniversary In Oregon

We went to Oregon for our anniversary. Oregon is awesome -- especially when you pick the one week each year when it doesn't rain. The beach ones are at Cannon Beach. Haystack rock in the background.

Photo taken just seconds before I got a flat tire.

In the Columbia River Gorge. Waterfalls galore!

This is our awesome hotel in Portland.

Portland Rose Gardens.

Japanese gardens. Admission = $9.00 enjoyment = $3.50

Pinnock Mansion. Admission = $8.00 enjoyment = $8.00 (Helen says more like $1.50)

View of Mt. Hood from Pinnock Mansion.

Family Olympics

Helen organized a family olympics while her family was visiting from the U.K.
This is my new favorite photo of Mary.

Benjamin was intense on the bouncy ball.

Hannah intense at soccer (a.k.a. football).

That's actually my cowboy hat -- I was just letting her borrow it.

Helen dominated on the pogo stick.

More Baseball

Hannah and Daniel playing baseball at their sports camp.

Baseball

We signed Matthew and Benjamin up for baseball this spring. They loved it, but games twice each week turned out to be a lot.

Sports Camp

Here are some clicks from Hannah and Daniel's sports camp earlier this summer.

The Zoo

We had a little family outting to the zoo today. No zebras, no bears, no lions, but we did find a few animals.

The forearm on this monkey looks just like my friend Dave's - thickness, vein, and hair.

Ms. Mary

I love these photos of Mary. The first day it felt like spring, the kids all went outside to jump on the trampoline. Mary climbed the ladder and tried to join them.

Benjamin did a good job of keeping Mary off the trampoline.
