Moab and Arches
The family and I spent a fantastic long weekend in Moab, Arches National Park, and Dead Horse Point. Here are some of the photos from Arches. I'll do Dead Horse Point in a following post.
The weather threatened all weekend, but cooperated on Friday. The skies were overcasting giving me a nice diffuse light even at noon.
Our first stop was the Windows and Turret Arches. The short hike to the base of the arches was just right for our young kids.
On our way up to Double Arch.
Turret Arch.
At Sand Dune Arch.
Gott'a have a catcus photo.
Delicate Arch viewpoint hike.
Next to Balancing Rock.
Balancing Rock with the sun coming through the clouds in the background.
Dead trees that I liked.
Two of my favorite girls waiting for dad to finishing taking photos.
A few more random shots as we were driving to our hotel.

Awesome awesome awesome stuff, Michael!! I love how you played with your exposures and sometimes focused on the clouds, sometimes on the rocks, etc. The reds really pop from the grey skies. And I really love your dead trees! The first dead tree is my favorite one.
Great stuff!!
Way to go...LOVE the pictures!
